Greetings Towers Families,

Please make note of the following announcements and updates.

  • Superintendent Dr. Horton will be visiting Towers Monday, August 21st to hear about all the great things we do and how he can support us. We are super excited for this opportunity.
  • Parents please consider running for a seat on the Principal Advisory Council. We need 2 parents to support Towers PAC. See details below. The candidate declaration window for 2023-2024 Principal Advisory Council elections will be open through Friday, August 25th. 
  • EOC Mid-Month Testing begins this week for students needing to make-up Coordinate Algebra, American Literature, Biology, and US History. Please ensure your student(s) gets to school on time and has his/her Chromebook.  Parents and students will be notified.
  • Please mark your calendars for the following events:
    • September 5th (5pm-7pm) for Curriculum Night and Parent Center Grand Opening
    • September 7th (5pm) Senior C/O 24 Pinning Ceremony
    • September 29th - Towers Homecoming Game
  • All students are strongly encouraged to checkout Chromebooks to complete assignments and engage in daily lessons.  A parent agreement must be completed. https://dekalb.incidentiq.com/policy/3174c19a-59d8-4e34-be40-cd5ccdbce84f/lookup  Distribution days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
  • A physician will be on site Tuesday, August 22 at 3:30 pm for physicals for any students interested in playing a sport or joining the band this school year.  The cost is $25.
  • Please complete the lunch application for your student.  This task is very important to ensuring our students get the federal resources they are entitled to receive. - https://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/school-nutrition/fr-meal-applications/
  • All students are strongly encourage to bring clear or mesh bookbags to school.
